In response to the 2014 fire at Bissell Centre's Thrift Store, which resulted in the loss of 100,000 articles of clothing and a significant gap in sales, I created a plan to help ease the financial burden. My goal was to raise awareness of the damaging impact of the fire through a visually captivating fundraising campaign. I wrote call-to-action messages on burned items such as wood and clothing to serve as photo props, reminiscent of the fire site. With the backing of Edmonton's Twitter community and the wider community, we successfully raised more than $33,000.
